About

Both the music venues above have long since closed, but playing these and others around the U.K left an itch that just had to be scratched.
Many years later I eventually decided to physically record something.
One thing followed another and here I am with a collection of something's.
All the parts of something's are played using a jumble of instruments shown in the gear section above.
From a creative perspective something's have been a complete joy to work with.
From a technical perspective they have been a nightmare and the pressure to outsource the responsibility of how something's sound has at times been overwhelming.
The polished and well oiled machine that appears to drive music production, at least initially seemed to be a brick wall.
However, over time it became clear that a large number of people are making music just because they can.
I liked that idea the best.
Different people enjoy different things
Capitalism has monetized joy and found a way of selling it back to people; future historians will look back and judge if this was a good or a terrible idea.
Either way some people will listen to my something's and be appalled by them; others find them anodyne and irrelevant.
I hope a few will listen and maybe enjoy something's.
